· Carefully read the description of your Rondell cookware on the packaging and labels, or in a booklet.
· Before using for the first time, wash the item with hot water and a mild detergent, rinse well and wipe dry to prevent stains on the polished surface from the water. Remove all labels
· Never use harsh cleaning tools, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners. After washing, wipe completely dry to give the cookware more shine.
· After washing in a dishwasher, the cookware should be removed immediately so as to prevent the formation of spots due to the conditioned moisture. At the very least, the dishwasher door should be opened as soon as the washing cycle is complete.
· Over time the colour of plastic and bakelite accessories can change due to the action of washing (particularly in a dishwasher), but this in no way affects their functionality.
· We do not recommend heavily chlorinated or acidic cleaning agents.
· To wash glass lids, do not apply detergents containing abrasive agents because scratches on the glass will sharply reduce its thermal resistance.
· Do not use cold water to cool pans and glass lids. Abrupt changes in temperature can cause discoloration of the metal and surface deformation.
· If stirred correctly, food in the cookware will not burn. If, however, this happens through improper use of the cookware, you should not use metal brushes or abrasive substances to clean it; rather fill the pan with water and detergent (or baking soda), bring to the boil and allow to cool.
Bright spots can form, particularly after the first use, on the surface of stainless-steel cookware; they can be easily removed using a 4.5% solution of table vinegar or citric acid.
